21 Terrorists Apprehended Overnight
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Israel Security Agency (ISA), and Israel Border Police arrested 21 people suspected of terrorism involvement late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning. Their operations took place throughout Judea and Samaria. Arrests in the town of Balata and the city of Beitunia were met with attacks using weapons such as explosive devices, stones, and paint cans. While apprehending a suspect in the town of Aqabat Jabr, approximately 20 Palestinians launched stones and Molotov cocktails at security forces.
Police and security officers in Israel have a difficult job. Not only do they have to arrest terrorists and violent criminals, but those criminals often are helped with attacks from rioters, as was the case last night. Much attention deservedly goes to Israel’s security against international threats, but the next time you pray for Israel’s safety, remember to pray for the men and women defending Israelis against the violent criminals closest to home.
