“There is No Peace!”
Isaiah’s statement resounds as loudly today as it did when he announced it in his day, “There is no peace,” says my God, “to the wicked” (Isaiah 57:21). Nothing sounds as appealing as peace, yet nothing can deceive as talking about peace. In the United States several Jewish groups seem to want peace, after all it’s in their name, however in reality they undermine Israel’s legitimacy and existence, joining Israel’s enemies. Here are some of those organizations:
Jewish Voices for Peace: This organization uses some of the same tactics as Israel’s enemies, including delegitimizing Israel and encouraging boycotting Israel. Far from encouraging Israel in the international arena, they oppose Israel.
Breaking the Silence: This organization brings Israeli soldiers to speak on offenses they saw in their military experience while serving with the army. Interestingly, Lt. Col. Richard Kemp declared before the U.N., that Israel has the most moral army in the history of warfare. This program has a very small number of soldiers participating in this endeavor. Less than 1% of the military would agree with these soldiers.
Peace Now: While having peace in their name, they do not want peace for Israel. They united with other anti-Israel organizations Jewish Voices for Peace (JVP), If Not Now (INN) Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) Muslims for Palestine, and Boycott, Divest, and Sanction, to disrupt a Birthright mission. Birthright is an organization “that seeks to create and build strong ties between the Jewish people and their homeland.” They did this with the aim of preventing the Jewish people on this mission from connecting with Israel. The outcome? “They have failed. They will continue to fail. Because you cannot take a Jew away from his roots. They can try but they will ultimately not succeed.”
These groups are nothing more than wolves in sheep’s clothing. They are not for Israel or about peace. Beware!
