“Chabad rabbi says alleged July 4 shooter entered his synagogue on Passover. Rabbi Yosef Schanowitz, whose house of worship is near the site of Monday’s shooting in heavily Jewish Highland Park, says he sternly asked Robert Crimo to leave.”
Israel’s foreign minister was notified of the shooting, because of the 30,000 Jewish residents “at least one-third are Israeli.”
Among the casualties in the shooting, two were so far identified as Jacki Sundheim, a long time senior staffer at a Chicago-area synagogue, and Nicholas Toledo, a Mexican grandfather visiting his family.”
A tragedy. A needless, senseless tragedy. Please pray for the victims, the injured, and the community.
