Israel at War: Week 138
Once again the UN shows its weakness and bias against Israel. Pramila Patten the UN Secretary-General’s special representative on sexual violence in conflict included Israel in a report that put it alongside of Hamas, ISIS, and other known groups known for their sexual violence in conflict. She declared, “I made it clear to Israel I would not visit any detention facility, even if offered. It’s not the responsibility of my office to do any verification. The information is verified with a robust methodology of verification and documentation. It’s not the responsibility of my office to do any verification. I am a recipient. I compile the information and present it to the Secretary-General.” When asked if she had seen the evidence personally she replied, “No, because it is not my job.”
Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon promptly ceased all contact with Secretary-General Guterrese’s office “accusing the secretary-general of giving legitimacy to ‘false accusations’ against Israel while equating it with the terror group responsible for the October 7, 2023 massacre.”
Yet another incident in a long list of them demonstrating the UN’s anti-Israel bias. The hate fest continues.
