Israel at War: Week 148

“All or Nothing,” summarizes Prime Minister Netanyahu’s response to the Board of Peace’s recommended proposal to end the Hamas War. He said, “I want to clarify here, Israel rejects the 15 point document. The IDF will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is disarmed. And when I say Hamas must be disarmed, I mean the heavy weapons, the less heavy weapons, all weapons. And we are talking about genuine disarmament.”

President Trump is said to be “downplaying the public disagreement, choosing not to issue a severe reprimand to Netanyahu.”

Whether Iran, Hamas, or Hezbollah, the issue negotiators must consider: Israel’s aims in the war: The dismantling and disarming of Hamas. For Iran, it is the dissolving of their existing nuclear aims, and all intentions for nuclear weapons, along with their desire to destroy Israel. Anything less than total, unconditional surrender by all three parties is a non-starter for Israel. These enemies of Israel must unconditionally dissolve and disarm for the conflict to end. Until that occurs, the war continues. Israel can do no less because its survival is at stake.

The negotiators must consider and include in their proposals Israel’s clear aims for the war which Prime Minister Netanyahu stated; the release of the hostages, the dismantling of Hamas, and the disarmament of Hamas. “This is a war of good against evil, of light against darkness. And light must win.” Those last two words are critical, a clear victory for Israel.

As always, continue praying for Israel until Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and every enemy that desires Israel’s destruction is vanquished.
