Israel at War: Week 151

Here are three news items from Israel today:

1. “Shin Bet Confirms spiriting Yair Netanyahu back from Miami due to significant threat.” “Theresa agency’s comments came after a report earlier this week that the younger Netanyahu was the target of an Iranian assassination plot in December 2025 while he was living in Florida.”

2. “16 Givati soldiers sent to prison for refusing to enter an armored personnel carrier (APC) with a female paramedic.” “The incident was the latest in a series of cases of male Orthodox soldiers refusing to interact with female soldiers due to their religious sensibilities.”

3. “Palestinian Banking Crisis averted, as Israeli bank delays plan to halt collaboration.” “A day before deadline, Discount Bank, due to international pressure, including from the United States and the European Union, agrees to push off plan to stop correspondent banking services to Palestinian counterparts, which tethers the West Bank to the global economy.” Bank officials have agreed to put off the action to December 31.

That’s a glimpse of life in Israel today, giving both information and motivation to continue praying for Israel and our world.
