On September 6, 2007 in a military operation Israel named Operation Orchard the air force attacked a nearly completed Syrian nuclear reactor in the eastern region of Syria near the Iraq border. “In 2026 it was established the Syrians held 27 tons of nuclear materials associated with the site, including ‘yellow cake’ (a uranium concentrate powder), and the Trump administration, Israel, and Syria negotiated a deal to remove it from Syria.”
Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), said that Syria, “Given the configuration, the technical features of that type of reactor, this is a reactor that is very efficient in the production of fissile material that could be used directly in the manufacture of nuclear weapons. Building the reactor was a very important step.”
In 1981 in Operation Babylon the Israeli Air Force destroyed the Iraqi nuclear reactor, which Saddam Hussein could have used to attack Israel. In 2007 they took out the Syrian nuclear reactor. They have vowed and acted to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons. There are currently nine nations with nuclear weapons capability, but Iraq, Syria, and Iran form a clear and present danger for the survival of Israel. It is why Israel refuses to allow another Holocaust from its Muslim neighbors. It is also why God will judge and “curse,” those who seek to harm His people, His land, and His city. That is the reason we pray for them, that His will, not Israel’s enemies will, would be done.
