A Personal Note…

In Psalm 136 the psalmist repeats the refrain, “for His mercy endures forever (Psalm 136:1). In the closing verse he writes, “Oh give thanks to the God of Heaven! For His mercy endures forever.” On this Thanksgiving week we have so much to be thankful for, especially God’s endless mercies, as “they are new every morning.”

For me, I am grateful for the opportunity to meet with you each week to inform you of happenings in Israel. Both for your information and also for your prayer. Today, I wish you and your family a very blessed, Happy Thanksgiving, and thank you for letting me be a part of your life each week.

On to Israel: One big prayer request comes from recent comments and movements from our President regarding Israel, a cease fire, and peace. Jewish friends in our area, in Israel, and around the world have a concern, one said a “fear”, of the direction President Trump is taking, including providing Saudi Arabia with F-35 fighter jets.

Pray that President Trump will stand firmly with Israel and not defect to supporting their enemies, notably Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey.
