Hamas Denies Murdering Israeli Civilians on October 7
Hamas denies its operatives intentionally killed civilians on October 7. Despite equipping its members with GoPro cameras that recorded hours of footage of murdering innocent Israelis, Hamas claimed, “Avoiding harm to civilians, especially children, women and elderly people, is a religious and moral commitment by all the Al-Qassam Brigades’ fighters [its military wing].”
Of the 253 hostages taken captive from Israel to Gaza with minimal food and medical attention, 136 remain in Hamas’s grip. Dozens of those remaining are feared dead. Yet Hamas said, “The Palestinian resistance was fully disciplined and committed to the Islamic values during the operation and that the Palestinian fighters only targeted the occupation soldiers and those who carried weapons against our people.” It claimed it was “keen to avoid harming civilians” and that any civilian targeting was accidental.
Hamas’s bald-faced lie is easily exposed by its own video footage and operatives’ admissions of guilt and by testimonies from Israeli victims and eye-witnesses. Furthermore, Hamas continues to war against Israel without regard for preserving the lives of Israeli civilians or even its own, whom they use as human shields to gain an advantage over the IDF. The terrorists’ attempt to save face is pathetic. Perhaps they hope to give some quotes to their supporters hoping to justify their massacre, but it would be nearly impossible for anyone to buy into such an obvious falsehood.
