What was it like for the hostages of Hamas following the October 7, 2023 attack? Former hostage David Cunio tells of his own experience in the hands of Hamas. “Conditions were so bad he considered suicide. ‘Just collect a lot of pills and down them.’ He experienced starvation and psychological torture. “For a long time we were on 250 milliliters (about 1 cup of water a day) and half a pita.”
The stories that these former hostages share tell of brutal, inhumane tactics by Hamas upon them. All because they are Jews. Pray for the former hostages return to their lives and families, and that they will overcome the mental, emotional, and physical abuse they experienced at the hands of their captors.
