Israel at War: Week 126
With so much happening in Israel with rockets being launched from Hezbollah in Lebanon and from Iran, central Israel was attacked by a barrage of rockets. In Rishon Lezion a woman in her 40’s received a head wound by debris from a destroyed ballistic missile.
In the week-long Iran war, the joint Israel-US Air Force attacks have, in President Trump’s terms, “destroyed a country that wanted to destroy Israel.” When asked about ending the war he said, “It will be a mutual decision between Netanyahu and me when the war will end.”
The Iranian Republican Guard has named the late Supreme Commander Ali Khameini’s son Mojtaba Khameini as new supreme leader. They vow allegiance, “complete obedience” to his leadership. One analyst said Mojtaba is “more hardline than his father, his appointment signals defiance and revenge.”
In Psalm 20:9 it indicates the desire of Israel supporters, “Save LORD, May the King answer us when we call.” Pray for God’s strength to bring Israel victory over its enemies. Continue lifting Israel, its land, leaders, warriors, and citizens in prayer at this time.
