Israel at War: Week 142

Here we go again, another cease fire agreement, another violation with a trading of air strikes. Another re-opening and re-closing of the Strait of Hormuz by the mullahs and the IRGC and attacks on commercial tankers. The financial gain is motivation enough for them to continue charging tolls as they can make billions of dollars doing so.

Seeing this play out in Iran should remind us of the fiery words of Patrick Henry to the Second Virginia Convention in 1775, “I know not what course others may take, but as for me, Give me Liberty or give me Death!” It’s time President Trump, Vice President Vance, senior Envoys Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner made the mullahs a final offer, one they cannot refuse. It is total defunding of terrorism, total refusal to pursue nuclear weapons, and total release of all enriched uranium.

Anything less than total, unconditional surrender will end in the continual attack and bombardment of their holdings and weapons sites until they surrender. The reason for Henry’s speech is very germane here regarding Iran. “He reasoned that peaceful negotiations with Great Britain were no longer possible.” The same is true with the mullahs. They do not want peace, merely power and the destruction of Israel and the United States.

As the psalmist says in Psalm 120:6-7, “My soul has too long dwelt with one who hates peace. I am for peace, but when I speak they are for war.” “Men cry peace, peace but there is no peace.” “There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked” (Isa 48:22; 57:21).

Never forget the words of Prime Minister Netanyahu, “This is a war of good against evil, of light against darkness, and light must win!” Fitting words indeed as we in America celebrate our 250th birthday and Israel seeks to defeat its Iranian-funded enemies, and their funds provider,  Iran.

Happy 250th Birthday, America! “Proclaim Liberty Throughout the Land!”
