Israel at War: Week 143

Once a terror group, always a terror group. Hamas has dissolved its Gaza governing administration to transfer power to the technocratic National Committee. While this sounds positive, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar believes Hamas is merely avoiding disarmament—a key demand from both President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu. Sa’ar explained, “Hamas’s trick is simple. They want a technocratic government to handle municipal services like garbage collection while they remain the dominant military force. This replicates ‘the Hezbollah Model.’ It allows Hamas to continue oppressing Gaza’s people while pursuing a jihadist war against Israel.”

In his post on X, Sa’ar concluded, “Israel insists on the Trump plan. We require the disarmament of Hamas and all other terror groups, alongside the complete demilitarization of the Gaza Strip.”

Israel and the world must demand that Hamas fully accepts disarmament and demilitarization without changes. Anything less leaves Israel vulnerable. Please continue to pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6).
