Israel at War: Week 61
Syria looks to be falling and the whereabouts of Assad are in question. Prime Minister Netanyahu says that its fall has come because of Israel’s strategic strikes and confrontation of Iran, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and Hamas in Gaza. “We are transforming the Middle East,” Prime Minister Netanyahu said.
With the collapsing of Syria occurring so rapidly, it is possible that the region could devolve into chaos. Assad’s regime is crumbling and “Israel is defeating its enemies step by step.”
The Assad rule has existed for fifty years. Israel has struck significant areas in Syria, including one hundred targets today (Dec 9th) alone. They have designated their Syrian operation “A New East.” The world is witnessing a transformation in the Middle East they never thought possible and Israel is leading the way.
