Israel at War: Week 72

The faces of Kfir, Ariel, and their mother Shiri have captured the hearts of people around the world. Hamas suggested that they were killed by an Israeli airstrike while in captivity. Sadly, the reality is much more evil. After forensic examination, both the boys Kfir and Ariel, along with their mother were murdered in cold blood by the hands of the Hamas terrorists on the day they were seized, October 7,2023. Their funerals will be held in a private ceremony and the Israeli citizens have been urged to line the streets. Yarden Bibas, the husband and father of Shiri, Kfir, and Ariel, understandably is struggling to come to terms with the deaths of his loved ones.

Seeing the hostages come out emaciated, treated disrespectfully by their captors, including one hostage having to kiss the head of a terrorist shows exactly why nations never negotiate with terrorists: you cannot trust them. Period. They covered the truth, they lied about their condition.

The Bible says that we are to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep (Romans 12:15). For Shiri, Kfir, and Ariel our souls weep and pray for the evil doers to be brought to justice on behalf of all those killed in the war.
