Israel at War: Week 95
As Israel battles for its life, many nations of the world shamefully support Hamas and call for recognizing a Palestinian state. Nations like France, Canada and England acknowledged their intention to call for a Palestinian state when the UN convenes in September. While the press calls these statements largely symbolic, they are rejected by Israel.
Yet, these statements embolden Hamas, as they have said that these nations are responding to their attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
The folly of this move is illustrated by a hostage that trolled British Prime Minister Keir Stirmer following his declaration of calling for a Palestinian state. His response was insensitive and foolish. In essence he said that while the hostage suffered deeply and many continue to do so, his nation would still recognize a Palestinian state and Hamas!
In calling for a Palestinian state here’s what the nations are recognizing:
• The IDF believes Hamas currently has a 300 mile tunnel system reaching Israel and where many of the hostages are being held. Hamas took 251 hostages on October 7,2023. Currently, 50 hostages remain in captivity.
• There were 1,200 murdered Israelis on October 7, 2023.
• Hamas has launched 40,000 rockets into Israel over the past several years.
• In rejecting a ceasefire proposal Hamas has said they will not release the hostages nor will they relinquish their weapons.
The Bible declares, “Woe to him that calls evil good and good evil.” It seems many world leaders do not know the difference between good and evil. Prime Minister Netanyahu will help them: “This is a war of good against evil, of light against darkness. And light must win.” The good and right move is to support Israel, not Hamas. Many world leaders that support Hamas should be ashamed of themselves.
