Government Launches October 7 Documentation Website To Expose ‘Organized Evil’ Of Hamas
For the second anniversary of October 7, the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating anti-Semitism has launched a new website entitled “The October 7 Files: Organized Evil” to document how the Hamas-led massacre was “the product of years of indoctrination, meticulous planning, and systemic exploitation of civilians.”
The website, which warns readers that it contains “sensitive material” that may be difficult for some to read or view, says it aims to reveal the engineered terror behind the massacre “by way of Hamas manuals, orders, and hidden intelligence” which “expose the organized evil that turned October 7 into one of the darkest days in modern history.”
The current war in Gaza erupted after Hamas’ October 7 massacres, which saw thousands of terrorists burst across the border into Israel by land, air, and sea, killing some 1,200 people and seizing 251 hostages, mostly civilians, many amid horrific acts of brutality and sexual assault.
48 hostages remain in Gaza— at least 20 0f them believed to be alive.
Speaking with the Israel Hayom newspaper, an official from the ministry said while the world “accuses us of genocide,” the site presents evidence to show that it was actually Hamas “who committed genocide on October 7.”
The Hamas-controlled Gaza health ministry says the death toll from the war in the strip has surpassed 60,000 but its tally does not differentiate between civilians and combatants and cannot be verified.
Israel has rejected claims that it is perpetrating a genocide in Gaza as well as disputing claims of widespread famine.
Among the documents published by the government are Hamas papers and maps marking “kibbutzim, kindergartens, synagogues, youth centers, and other civilian locations” as targets and instructing those engaged in the terrorist assault to “kill as many as possible” and kidnap civilians as hostages.
A note to those participating in the attack found on the body of one terrorist insisted that “the enemy” was “a disease immune to medicine” and that “the treatment was to slice off heads and to rip out hearts and livers.”
In addition, a “Fighter’s Guidebook – Jihad version” distributed by Hamas instructed members of the group to “spread fear and chaos among the civilians, tie their hands and blindfold them, use electric shocks on the hostages and execute anyone who presents a threat or distraction.”
The website also contains copies of Arabic-Hebrew phrasebooks including phrases such as “we will kill the hostages” and “take off your clothes” – as well as detailed instructions on how to livestream the attacks using cellular phones.
According to a government translation of Hamas’ operational plan shared on the site, when taking hostages, the “priority” was “children and women” and the goal of the attack on one kibbutz was described as “inflicting the maximum possible human losses, taking hostages, and establishing positions inside until further orders are issued.”
In addition, the government published Hamas’ “religious dispensations to murder and capture Jews or Israelis,” arguing that the group’s “inhuman crimes were “normalized” religiously by radical Islamist clerics, who provided a distorted interpretation of the Muslim religion.”
These, the ministry stated, “were issued in addition to historic fatwas written on this subject, effectively legitimizing the murder of Jews wherever they may be,” referring to Islamic religious rulings.
It cited a 2015 Hamas book entitled Figh al-Jihad w’al-Amman, which the website said “explicitly permits the deliberate killing of enemy women, children, and the elderly if they are considered to be ‘assisting in the fight’ through sedition, encouraging the fighting (‘tahrid’), expressing opinions. or any other form of support.”
One fatwa quoted on the site stated that “Zionist society is an armed society (‘musallah’) founded on land theft, desecration of holy places, and blood. Most of their youths–boys and girls–are corrupted. Therefore all occupiers from among the Jews are fighters, with no difference between men, women, the old or the young. They can be killed in battle, or regarded as prisoners of war if captured.”
“The October 7 massacre was not a spontaneous eruption of violence but the product of years of preparation, indoctrination, and systematic exploitation of civilians. Hamas combined military training abroad, religious decrees, and operational handbooks with detailed intelligence gathering to plan an unprecedented assault on Israeli communities,” the website argued, slamming Hamas’ use of hospitals, schools, mosques, and even humanitarian institutions as shields.”
“In the aftermath of October 7, Hamas sought to manipulate global perception while continuing to exploit Gaza’s civilians,” the site contended, contrasting Hamas with Israel, which it said had been working with “international partners to expand humanitarian corridors, field hospitals, and aid delivery all while grappling with the rising toll of hostages, missing persons, and civilian deaths.”
IDF On Highest Alert For Holidays, Oct. 7 Anniversary And Gaza Talks
Israeli Defense Forces Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir has ordered the military to raise its alert level to the highest state of readiness during the Sukkot Holiday and as Israel marks the second anniversary of the October 7 massacre. The move comes amid concerns that Hamas could attempt to exploit the situation ahead of a possible hostage deal.
Despite the elevated alert, the IDF emphasized that “there is no change in the multi-front threat assessment.” and described the move as a part of “heightened readiness for the holiday period.”
According to the IDF, Zamir’s directive was issued during a situational assessment with members of the General Staff Forum ahead of the holiday. He instructed that defensive operations be prioritized through the end of Sukkot and that all forces complete training and readiness as drills before the holiday begins. This includes command briefings, focusing units on key missions, refining the integration of reinforcements across all sectors and reviewing security procedures for public events and festivals.
The IDF said Zamir also ordered the air force to maintain high readiness – both defensively and offensively – across all arenas, with particular focus on the Gaza Strip.
“We are in a constant state of alert, prepared for defense and offense on every front,” Zamir said. “We continue our mission so that all Israelis can celebrate Sukkot in peace and security.”
These decisions come as Israeli, Hamas and mediating delegations convene in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, to discuss US President Donald Trump’s proposed plan to end the war in Gaza and secure the release of all hostages, both living and deceased.
The talks began on Monday afternoon (6th) after months of deadlock. The Israeli delegation in Egypt includes Shin Bet deputy director M., hostage affairs coordinator Gal Hirsch, retired Maj. Gen. Mitzan Alon, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s foreign policy adviser Ofir Falk, and representatives from the Mossad and IDF.
These Are The Top Terrorists That Hamas Is Demanding Israel Release
A senior Palestinian Arab official told al-Arabiya that the Hamas terror organization is strongly demanding the release of six of the most senior terrorists serving in Israeli prisons in return for the hostages still being held by the organization.
Before the beginning of the negotiations between Israel and Hamas in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, the official said a list included: Marwan Barghouti, the founder of Fatah’s al-Aqsa Brigades; Ahmad Sa’adat, the leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) who was behind the assassination of Minister Rehavam Ze’evi; Hassan Salameh, the Hamas operative responsible for several suicide bombings in Israel; Ibrahim Hamad, a senior Hamas operative who operated a terror network; and Abdullah Barghouti and Abbas a-Said, senior Hamas terrorists from Ramallah and Tulkarem, who were responsible for sending out suicide bombers.
The official also said that Hamas will demand that 400 trucks enter the Gaza Strip every day, and ease the passage of residents from the southern Gaza Strip to the north.
A Palestinian Arab source told the al-khaber newspaper that a letter that Hassan Salameh sent to Yahya Sinwar influenced his decision to attack Israel.
According to the report, Salameh reached out from his prison to his longtime friend Sinwar, the Hamas leader in Gaza, and expressed dissatisfaction that Hamas’ strategy of applying pressure through the bodies of soldiers in its possession had not succeeded in leading to the release of security prisoners.
Syria In Uproar After President Al-Sharaa Cancels Yom Kippur War Anniversary
As Egypt marked its annual “October 6 Victory Day” commemorating what it views as a triumph in the 1973 Yom Kippur War, Arab media is focused on a new decree issued Sunday (5th) by Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa. The order sets Syria’s official holidays and annual leave days and abolishes four holidays that were recognized under former President Bashar Assad.
The holidays removed include “March 8 Revolution Day, ” “Teacher’s day,” “Martyr’s Day,” and the “Commemoration of the Yom Kippur War.”
Al Sharaa, who recently addressed the United Nations General Assembly in New York, added new holidays for what he called “the new Syria.” These include “Liberation Day,” set for December 8 to mark the fall of the Assad regime, and “Anniversary of the Syrian Revolution,” to be observed every March 18 – the date of the first demonstrations in Daraa in 2011 that signaled the start of Syria’s civil war.
In addition to the new national holidays, the decree lists religious and public celebrations including Eid al-Fitr, which ends Ramadan, Eid al-Adha, the Feast of Sacrifice, the Islamic New Year; Christmas, Easter; and Mother’s Day.
Arab media – particularly in Egypt, where October 6 is a national holiday – devoted wide coverage to the Syrian decree. The Egyptian daily Al-Youm al-Sabea reported that in Syria “the memorial day for the Yom Kippur War of October 6, 1973, which had been a national day marking the war of liberation against Israel, had been canceled. Also canceled was Martyrs’ Day on May 6, which commemorated the execution of a group of Syrian nationalists by Ottoman authorities in Damascus in 1916.”
US Ambassador To Israel Marks Two Years Since 10/7 Massacre, Vows Unwavering Support For Israel
In a post on X, US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee wrote: “Two years ago on Saturday, October 7, 2023—during Shabbat and the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah—Hamas terrorists backed by Iran carried out the deadliest attack against the Jewish people since the Holocaust. That peaceful morning was shattered as 1,200 innocent men, women and children were brutally massacred, and more than 250 people, including US citizens, were taken hostage into Gaza’s terror tunnels.”
He continued: “Hamas’ horrific assault was not an isolated act of violence, it was part of its stated genocidal ambition to destroy Israel and murder Jews in Israel and around the world. In the two years since that day, 1,152 brave Israeli soldiers and security personnel, including American citizens, have given their lives as Israel has fought a multi-front war for its survival.”
“Shortly after the attack, I traveled to Israel to express my solidarity with the Israeli people. At the time, I could not have imagined that two years later, families of the hostages would still be living through this nightmare. Nor could I have foreseen that I would return to Jerusalem as the US Ambassador to Israel, sent by President Donald Trump, to serve during this historic and challenging period,” Huckabee added.
Throughout these two years, I have witnessed firsthand the strength, resilience, and unity of the Israeli people. Their courage in the face of unimaginable loss continues to inspire all who stand with them.”
“Today, thanks to the leadership of President Trump, a deal has been reached to secure the release of the remaining 48 hostages—both living and deceased—held in Gaza, including two US citizens. This agreement will bring long-awaited closure to families and lay the groundwork for lasting peace. We continue to pray and work tirelessly to bring every hostage home and reunite them with their loved ones.”
“On this solemn anniversary, the United States reaffirms its unwavering commitment to Israel. We stand shoulder to shoulder with our ally and partner because it is the right thing to do.”
“As President Trump has said, we will always remember and never forget October 7, 2023. Evil and anti-Semitism are not abstract concepts—they are brutal realities that must be confronted with strength and moral clarity. Together, we will ensure that the memory of that day fortifies our shared resolve to defend freedom and the Jewish people,” Huckabee concluded.
IDF Wants To Create The Same Security Reality In Gaza As In Southern Lebanon – Yossi Yehoshua
IDF forces in Gaza City have been advancing slowly but with overwhelming force, prioritizing security over speed. In practice, it looks similar to operations carried out in Rafah, Khan Yunis, and Beit Hanoun, which have been leveled. A senior officer currently leading the fighting assessed that with the slower, safer approach, the IDF could eliminate all of Hamas’ infrastructure in Gaza City within two months. He added that contrary to Hamas’ image of fighting to the last man, many operatives have fled with their families to the south.
Regarding future security arrangements, commanders in the Gaza Division and Southern Command strongly oppose any plan that leaves the IDF only along the border, without a security perimeter inside Gaza. They warn, “It is impossible to protect communities from the fence. Farmers driving their tractors should not be seeing Hamas fighters but Israeli soldiers in front of them.”
The commanders also insist on strict enforcement against any violation, preventing the enemy from rebuilding, just as has been done in the north against Hezbollah. Along Israel’s northern border there are five outposts inside Lebanese territory. IDF troops conduct raids in Lebanon, uncover large Hezbollah weapons caches, and carry out airstrikes to prevent Hezbollah forces from regrouping.
Touring that frontier shows what victory looks like.
The IDF now enjoys full freedom of action inside Lebanon. The challenge is to resist international pressure to scale back, because pulling back outposts or reducing offensive operations would bring Hezbollah back to the fence and allow it to rearm. Now, the challenge is to create the same security reality in Gaza’s border communities.
