Israeli Border Police Save Palestinian Arab Teen
Fighters from the Israeli Border Police on Sunday (7th) provided life-saving medical treatment to a 14-year-old Palestinian Arab who suffered serious injury to his hand and arm from an industrial shredder in his workplace.
A Palestinian Arab vehicle arrived at a base Sunday (7th), in Beit El, where the Border Police headquarters in Judea and Samaria are located.
A number of people who got out of the vehicle called for help, among them a 14-year-old Palestinian boy, who had serious injuries to his hand and arm. The fighters immediately began medical treatment on the teen.
Superintendent Anatoly Plumboim, the Border Policeman physician for Judea and Samaria, and other medical personnel were summoned to the scene. They provided the teen with advanced life-saving medical treatment and quickly evacuated him to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
From the information provided by Palestinian Arabs who were with the 14-year-old, it emerged that he was a resident of the village of Ein Yabrud, and that his injury came from an industrial shredder.
In a statement, Plumboim said, “I arrived at the base following a report of an injured person who arrived at the scene. We provided advanced medical treatment to a child with a serious hand/arm injury who suffered significant blood loss. After treatment and stabilization, we evacuated him to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital where he was admitted to the trauma room and surgery.”

IDF Captures Palestinian Rock-Thrower Who Killed 21-Year-Old Soldier In May
On Sunday evening (7th), the IDF tweeted, “We can confirm that IDF soldiers and Israel’s security services have arrested the assailant who killed 21-year-old Staff Sgt. Amit Ben Yigal during operational activity last month.”
“We will continue in the fight against terror,” the IDF added.
Ben Yigal, a 21-year-old IDF combat soldier, was killed on the morning of May 12 when a rock was thrown by a Palestinian at his head during an operation in the village of Ya’bad, west of Jenin in northern Samaria.
The operation was almost completed when the incident occurred as the deadly rock was thrown from the roof of the very last house just as the soldiers were leaving the village, the Israeli Army reported.
Ben Yigal served in the Golani Brigade Reconnaissance Unit. He was posthumously promoted from Staff Sergeant to Sergeant !st Class.
Ben Yigal was the first IDF soldier killed in 2020.
IDF Spokesman Brigadier General Hedy Silberman said at the time, “A rock was thrown from one of the roofs – the last house in the village. The soldier was wearing a helmet but the rock struck him from an angle in a very bad way.”

UAE Former Police Chief Calls On Arab World To Accept Israel
In a series of tweets on Friday (5th), a former police chief in Dubai showed his support for Israel and called on the Arab world to follow suit.
“The truth is, it’s meaningless not to recognize Israel,” Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, tweeted.
“Israel is a country built on science, knowledge, prosperity, and strong relations with all developing countries. Who are the people who don’t recognize Israel’s position? From where do you think the Jews came? Hawaii?”
In another tweet, Tamim said if reconciliation happens he would choose to visit Israel before visiting the Kaaba (House of God), referring to the Islamic faith’s sacred edifice in the Great Mosque of Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
Tamim also urged the Gulf States to accept Israel in order to stop terrorism.
“As soon as the Gulf States normalize their relations with Israel, Qatar’s role as a proxy state for terrorist organizations will be over,” Tamim wrote.
“It is known that Qatar supports Hamas and still maintains a relationship with Israel. So what stops us from having a normal relationship with Israel?”
Even though the United Arab Emirates (UAE) does not officially recognize the State of Israel, relations between the countries have been softening.
In February, it was reported that the UAE coordinated a meeting between Sudanese leader Abdel-Fattah Burhan and the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to encourage reconciliation between the two countries.
In December 2019, a secret trilateral meeting involving the US, Israel, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) took place at the White House, with the aim of coordinating moves against Iran.
Last summer, Israel confirmed that Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz had visited the UAE and met with a senior Emirati official on the sidelines of a climate conference.

Palestinians Ramp Up Incitement To Murder Jews – Dr. Edy Cohen
Ever since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, many influential Palestinians have maliciously spread the lie that Israel is using the virus as a biological weapon and is deliberately spreading it in the Palestinian areas.
Those slanders start at the top. Palestinian PM Mohammad Shtayyeh launched a campaign pushing this incitement, and almost immediately thereafter, other senior Palestinian officials, including government spokesman Ibrahim Milhem, the health minister, and city mayors, all issued similar statements. They claimed Israel intentionally spread the virus through nearby infected Jewish residents and through infected Palestinian workers returning from work in Israel.
A new trend in Palestinian political cartooning emerged with the rock-murder by a Palestinian of 21-year-old IDF soldier Amit Ben Yigal last month. The new campaign’s theme “If you don’t have a gun, kill an IDF soldier with a rock” was widely circulated on social media. Many such cartoons have appeared since then on both the Fatah official website and in the Palestinian press.
In English, Palestinian leaders call rock-throwers “peaceful protesters.” In Arabic, they admit that rocks can kill and encourage their people to use them for that purpose.
Inciting their people to hatred and violence is a major weapon for Palestinian organizations, including the Palestinian Authority and Hamas, in their fight against Israel.
The Palestinian public is force-fed this incitement from infancy. It is fed to them through the education system, the media and the mosque. The goal of institutionalized incitement is to indoctrinate each new generation of Palestinians with an unquestioned idea – “Occupied Palestine” – and encourage them to carry out acts of violence against the “Zionist enemy.”
Incitement is always intended to prepare the people for future uprisings, when they will be expected to take to the streets and act with no holds barred. To encourage this behavior, the leadership indoctrinates the people into believing they are fighting for the noblest of causes.
Senior Palestinian officials have used propaganda and incitement against Israel nonstop since the signing of the Oslo Accords in the 1990s. In contrast to the fluctuating intensity of the “armed struggle,” Palestinian incitement against Israel is continuous and adapts to current events. For example, the Palestinians used to routinely call IDF soldiers “Nazis” and the Israeli PM “Hitler.” Then, during the time of ISIS, they began calling Israeli soldiers “ISIS terrorists” and the PM “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi” (the ISIS leader).
Generations of Palestinians have been brought up with this kind of brainwashing, and it makes peace with Israel impossible.

Suspect Who Stabbed NY Cop Yelled ‘Allahu Akbar’
There is a new ripple in the stabbing attack of a police officer in Brooklyn on Wednesday (3rd). The suspect in the unprovoked, surprise attack caught on video yelled “Allahu Akbar” three times, police said on Saturday (6th).
“The suspect, Dzenan Camovic, 20, has not yet been linked to a terror organization, but his tactics resembled those of anti-police attacks in Paris and other places,” John Miller the NYPD’s deputy commissioner of counter terrorism, said in a news conference.
“He used all the hallmarks that would be taken from a terrorist playbook,” Miller said.
Two officers from the 70th Precinct were assigned to prevent looting at the intersection of Flatbush and Church Avenues when a man “casually” approached one of them from behind and slashed his neck, narrowly “missing an artery,” Police Commissioner Dermot Shea said at a briefing.
The suspect then seized the officer’s firearm and shot two police officers, both in the hands. A police sergeant a block away heard the gunfire and rushed to the scene, shooting Camovic.
The incident took place at midnight Wednesday night (3rd).
Camovic is listed in critical condition at Kings County Hospital
The New York Post reports he is likely to be charged with three counts of attempted murder on a police officer.
One of Camovic’s relatives told the Post that the suspect is from Bosnia and is a practicing Muslim.
Allahu Akbar means “God is great!” in Arabic. It is typically yelled by Muslims as they carry out terror attacks.
