GALLANT WARNS REFUSAL TO SERVE ENDANGERS IDF CAPABILITY

The upheaval over the Likud’s overtures toward the judiciary has led to reservists threatening not to report. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stresses “that reservists refusal to serve could harm the IDF’s capabilities.” He said, “I am working to keep the IDF above any political disagreement and to condemn any service refusal. The IDF belongs to us all and we must preserve it.”

Even with terror attacks, and political challenges, Israel achieves the fourth highest ranked country for happiness. Interestingly, the United States ranked fifteenth on the happiness scale.
