Plotting the Destruction of Israel

While the easing of lockdown restrictions in Israel is reason to celebrate, the nation is seeing a growing number of threats. While he admitted there are “no indications that Israel intends to launch a war against Lebanon,” Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah warned Israel of “the great war that will open all fronts at once,” spelling “the end of Israel.” If any Hezbollah terrorist is killed, Nasrallah promised violent retaliation against Israel immediately, The Jerusalem Post reported.

Meanwhile, Iran continues its campaign to discredit and destroy Israel. Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei have promoted the Yemenite Houthi allies of the Ansar Allah (God’s Helpers) movement. The Houthis’ slogan is “God is great, death to America, death to Israel, curse the Jews, victory to Islam.” Iran has also passed a bill preventing any cooperation with Israel, including the use of any Israeli technology. Such a move has major implications, as Israel provides many important goods and services, such as computer hardware and software, and is making headway on a coronavirus vaccine as well. Yet Iranian leadership is willing to take these measures because “any cooperation or spying for the Zionist regime is equal to enmity towards God and corruption on Earth,” according to the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Seyed Hossein Naqavi Hosseini.

Israel can’t catch a break. Like all other countries, it has struggled through the coronavirus. But now that there is light at the end of the tunnel for overcoming the pandemic, Israel’s enemies are back on the front lines, opposing the Jewish nation. It must be incredibly difficult to find peace living in a land that faces constant threats of extermination. Yet Israelis must live in this reality daily. Only through God’s protection has Israel endured countless attacks, and only through His protection will they continue to weather more danger.
