Tel Aviv University Targets Diseased Cells in Breakthrough Treatment

The Jerusalem Post reports a team of researchers at Tel Aviv University have developed a breakthrough RNA-based drug delivery system to target diseased cells that could improve the treatment of blood cancers, various types of solid cancers, different inflammatory diseases and viral diseases, including coronavirus.

It’s amazing the kind of technology and health science coming out of Israel, almost what seems like on a daily basis. There are websites that are dedicated to simply sharing about all of the technology and science that is coming out of Israel. These researchers in Israel have been able to identify how to differentiate between diseased and non-diseased cells. Today we use antibodies which target every cell, whether it’s diseased or not, but this Tel Aviv University group of researchers have learned to identify only the diseased cells, leaving healthy cells intact. This is such amazing Israeli research coming out of the startup nation.
