Satan, The Great Deceiver

A look at the father of lies and our victory in Christ over him

First Peter 5:8 warns, “Be Sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” This issue reveals the tactics of that roaring lion, shares ways in which we can have victory over him, and teaches about the coming counterfeit Messiah—the Antichrist—whom the devil will possess to deceive the masses during the end-times. It also includes a chilling but encouraging article entitled “Dealing With the Devil,” which recounts a story about demonic activity in the jungles of New Guinea and Christ’s power against such forces.
