It’s Not Over Yet Romans 11:25–36

How God’s redemptive plan for Israel affirms the security of the church “Can you believe the Jews want to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem?” the pastor scoffed from the pulpit. “Isn’t that ridiculous?” Then he proceeded to mock the Jewish people for failing to understand that Jesus was the final sacrifice for sin and declared that God was finished with them. 1. Hi, I have a few questions: (1) How do we reconcile Romans 11:26 with Zechariah 13:8? Romans 11:26 says “all Israel will be saved” whereas Zechariah 13:8 appears to say that one-third of Israel will be saved while two-thirds will die. (2) What exactly is meant by “all Israel will be saved”? (Romans 11:26). Does it mean all Jews who are alive during the Great Tribulation will be saved? (3) Revelation 12 says the woman who gave birth to the Male Child fled into the wilderness where she would be kept for 1,260 days. I believe this woman symbolizes Israel at mid-Tribulation. Is it the whole of the population of Israel or only one-third of it that will be hidden away in the wilderness during the Great Tribulation? Will Jews be among the martyrs of the Great Tribulation? If so, why? Since they will be protected and hidden by God in the wilderness, I wouldn’t expect them to be victims of the antichrist’s massacre.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately, many people do not understand what the Bible teaches about Israel. God loves the Jewish people; and, according to Romans 11:25–36, His redemptive plan for them is not over yet.
