William, thank you for your helpful article on Ishmaels’ descendants. Having recently read Genesis 17, one question in my mind was whether there was anything more profound or spiritual in why Yahweh promises 12 princes to Ishmael (and not 11, 13 etc.). Despite being an equal number to the 12 tribes to come through Issac, when 12 is used in the scripture it tends to be associated with Yahwehs people. I wondered if it was in anyway related to the salvation purposes to graft in the gentiles in time?

If they do not accept Jesus as there Lord how will they be partakers of new Jerusalem ruled by Christ.
