The Anti-Christ is not a new topic for the 21st century. If you read the Bible, the same heresy was active during the Apostle John’s day. Read 1 John 2:18, 2:22, 4:3 and 2 John 7. As Solomon said, “There’s nothing new under the sun”. All through history. people have been playing God and trying to destroy His work and His Word. Nero and Hadrian tried to wipeout Christians and Jews in John’s day. Popes attempted to destroy the real Christian church during the Inquisition, using the Jesuits as their army. Guess who’s order the current Pope belongs to, Jesuit. And then we have Hitler, Stalin and even Ronald Reagan accused of being the Antichrist. Daniel is the key to understanding Revelation. Read both. God is gathering all the saints that will spend eternity with Him. Christ knows who are His and none will be “left behind”. Our concern should be to fulfill the Great Commission and witness to our friends and those around us. If you are around when the Antichrist is revealed, it really is too late for you. Christ said to take care of today, for tomorrow has enough trouble of it’s own. Love the Father, Love Christ and Love the Holy Spirit, the one Triune God. Depend on them for everything. I am confused. Doesn’t Ezek. 28:16 refer to the past when God cast Satan out of his position in Heaven for his involvement in the Fall? I was taught, and the New Testament verifies, that Satan is on the earth now. Jesus and Peter both back that up.
