60 Seconds With the Associate General Secretary

Dear Concerned Friend,

Let’s play questions and answers. Permit me to ask the questions, and you can supply the answers.

Did you know that the Hebrew language is written from right to left? Did you know that The Friends of Israel exists to “right” in all directions?

Did you know that here at our international headquarters we have some strong convictions concerning “righting”? Let me list some of them for you.

1st – The hour is late – time is running out – Christ is returning. We must share the Gospel message while there is still opportunity.

2nd – This is a “Golden Age” for Jewish missions. More Jews are responding to the Gospel today than at any other time since the First Century.

3rd – Pragmatism, feelings, and sincerity will not do; the Bible is our only authority. Both our message and methods are Biblically-centered. The need of the moment is a clear, “Thus saith the Lord.”

4th – In a day when the “Church” is under onslaught from every direction, we still strongly affirm our conviction in the local church as God’s agency.

5th – We believe that this ministry must be Biblically aggressive. To that end, two new families were appointed to The Friends of Israel mission “Team” at our recent Board meeting.

Won’t you stand with us in this Christ-centered, Spirit-directed ministry? We are reaching out in all directions to Jewish people throughout the world with the only message that will bring life.

Yours, as we actively await the sound of the trumpet,

Marvin J. Rosenthal

What Did Jesus Mean?

The Bible is God's Word. Every single part of it is inspired, authoritative, and important. But it's fair to admit that not every verse is equally clear.
