The Temple is irrelevant because Jesus (Yeshua) it our Temple of Salvation. To build a Temple upon the mount and start animal sacrifices again is rejecting Yeshua Hamashiach, but in saying that all three religions should have access to the Temple Mount. No one religion should dominate the Temple mount. The Muslim rule must be stopped on the Temple Mount; don’t destroy their Mosques on the mount but make them understand they are co-owners of the most holy site in all three of the religions that came forth from the very existence of the Temple Mount.
