Over the years I’ve had many people tell me doctrine isn’t important. What matters, they say, is that you love Jesus. I’ll never dispute the importance of loving Jesus. But the apostle Paul spent...

I just read my current Israel My Glory mag this morning. I was so excited when I saw that you believe in 24hr days, and 6 days creation and the God spoke the heavens into existence. It is as you pointed out “It is by faith we believe …” (Hebrews 11:3) these things.
But, God has not left us defense less against the secular scientists. We cannot “prove” these things, we can only line up the evidence and compare the Big-Bang hypothesis against Genesis ch 1-2, when we do, the Bible wins hands down. I was a little surprised you did not mention the age of the earth. The evidence also shows the earth and universe are much younger than ‘they’ say.
I teach a class called “Genesis vs. Evolution” at Woodstock Baptist Church, Woodstock Georgia.
