Goodbye, Year of the Virus

People the world over are probably relieved to say, “Happy New Year!” There is sheer jubilee in knowing the books on 2020 are finally closed. Goodbye, year of the virus. Hello, 2021. Last year taught us how quickly we can adjust to unforeseen circumstances. We learned how to transition from working in an office to working from home while managing the online education of our children. It se

  1. Throughout history God has alway told us that we are stiff necked and that as the years pass us by we all turn away from God and look to each other for answer to our problems and solutions, instead of turning to God. As the years pass us by so our hearts harden with each day as it passes. Many forget about God and everything that he has done for us. As the years pass us by they seem to dissolve into a mist, never to be seen again nor remembered, including God’s love for us. I believe that God is coming back to remind us all that he was and still is the God of Araham, Isaac and Jacob. He is showing us his power and his glory in the same way as he demonstrated to Pharaoh in the days of the Exodus that he is our one and only God, and that he still has the power to wipe out all who turn their faces away from God and seek adulation and praise from mere instead of God.
God has done this so many times in the past, he has turned his face away from us when we have turned our faces away from him.
When we turn to him he protected us from our enemies and made our lands fruitfull, but when we turned away from him our land dried up and our crops failed and our land became baron, only fit for the snakes and the wild beast to inhabit. We must once more return to God, take him into our hearts and our souls and our minds. We must once more return to our God so that he will return to us and heal us. Only when we are all one with God shall we be a whole people once again, God’s people, where ever we are on this planet.

  2. The years of the virus go marching on. Restrictions are only for those who choose to obey man rather than God. Sadly, the vast majority of congregations are still submitting to tyrannical “officials” all over the world. It’s over a year, half-way through a new flu season, and a third will be upon us this fall! How long will humanity give in to this satanic fear?

  3. Need clarification on the verse “…And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men…” In the USA, it has been revealed by scientists and physicians that the virus began around December 2019. So hopefully that means that 2021 will be a year of jubilee. Interesting to note that in the biblical passage there is no week. Maybe that is a good thing.
