I am being challenged in this belief…thanks for the article.
There is so much effort & money spent celebrating “Christmas” through gift exchanges, decorating, office parties which can involve drinking to excess, baking which can encourage gluttony, seeing Santa at the mall, stockings, etc. It’s depressing! If we celebrate the very same way as unbelievers we know we are doing something wrong.
I’m uncertain now what Christmas means to me as a Christian. I love seeing family over the holidays but have discontinued many of our former traditions. It brings new meaning to the question, “Are you ready for Christmas?” Rather, we should ensure that we are ready for Christ’s return.
Amen
Thank you, in a day of pluralism it’s refreshing to hear the gospel message in a clear way.
It really comes down to not just believing, but the object of our belief.
