Great story of a life trusting Jesus, Steve.
I had a Jewish uncle who was also saved in a very similar way to your story at the very end of his life. He spent most of his life making Jesus jokes but his son who lives now in Israel had a prayer vigil after his dad had a massive stroke. Doctors said he wouldn’t make it but God had other plans and answered prayers to save my uncle and give him two more months of life to get it right. He came home from the hospital and soon accepted Jesus as his savior.
I also just lost my mom this last Sept when she was approaching 101 but was called home less than two months til her birthday.
God is good all the time and worthy of all our praises and trust.
Kindly,
Richard
