My mind is at its freshest early in the morning. The thoughts of God are clear at that point. It is awesome to see the sun rise in the East and dispel the darkness of night. The sun is strong as the apostle John describes the Christ, “…And He had in His right hand seven stars, and out of His mouth went a sharp twoedged sword, and His countenance shone as the sun shineth in his strength…” He is full of light and He gives light.
I too walk each day trying for 10,000 steps. I usually walk in the woods and am refreshed not only enjoying his creation, but sometimes with a friend discussing current events and relating it to scripture.

Thank you for sharing we are not the only ones who have seen corruption and dark days. We truly have a living hope! And Jesus will have the final word.
My dear wife of 42 years went to be with the Lord in September 2020. She was a harpist and accompanied our congregational singing at the piano. Many have said to me that they believe she is playing the harp before the Lord. I don’t think so. She often shared privately with me that she wished that she could sometimes just be in the congregation singing praise and great truth back to Him. I believe she is actually doing that now. So as I think of Him singing over me, I also think of her singing to Him in His very presence!
I needed this! It certainly was timely!
Thank you!
Very encouraging, Steve. Thanks
