Nine years have passed since the tragedy of 9/11. Are we wiser and more diligent, or have we become what Lenin called “useful idiots”?
It may surprise you how much work goes into maintaining a fisherman’s net . . . regardless of what you’re fishing for.
He endured imprisonment by the Nazis and torture by the Communists to become one of the 20th century’s most inspiring men of faith.
Is it really possible to receive a clear directive from God? If you’re wondering whether God is calling you to missions, this article may help.
How much impact can a person make for Christ if he dies at the young age of 26? An enormous one, as Bill Borden showed the world.
This is an amazing story of how God can transform and use any one.
I once met Richard Wurmbrand in Singapore as a teenager and I continue to remember how much he must have known God loved him because he is able to endure to the end , and show us a glimpse of how Jesus also endured to the end.
I am a Romanian Christian who met Richard few times in Romanian churches he visited after the collapse of communism.
The mark of his message was unconditional love of God and His free forgiveness especially for high ranked sinners whom were condemned by others. He preached the Gospel with living illustrations and examples from his life or a broad culture.
Richard touched the hearts of audience in a such way so we never got bored during his sermons. We felt really that the Gospel is a good news.
Really an amazing true story and very inspiring for us all Christians
We had the distinct pleasure of providing a footstool for Mr. Wurmbrand while he was speaking at a meeting near Bartlesville in May of 1996. He usually removed his shoes and sat down when speaking because his feet were severely beaten with rods. He remains one of our heroes of the faith!!
True Christians who all though being tortured lived their lives with the love of Jesus and in a Christian way,not easy.
What an amazing couple. They had the tenacity to hold on to God – a tenacity only empowered by the Holy Spirit. May God grant us the strength to be but of any measure like them.
amazing and inspiring life that in spite of all the challenges this man stayed strong and finished his race well
Beautiful, Inspiring, and Moving!
With such extraordinary as this story makes as waterfalls tears rolling down my cheeks, I still do not understand why the church is asleep, fractured and divided, history should be a model for each Pastor says that WILL follower of Christ! distribute their books in every corner of the planet stop wasting so much time …
But what most hurt me their story is that after being the founder of the Voice of the Martyrs and let his son as his successor, to this him out of the ministry for exposing a pastor corrupt ironies of life his father was tortured to denounce the lie .. we need more men like Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, as Martin Luther King, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the Hans and Sophie Scholl, Martin Luther and many martyrs in the history of mankind who have given their lives to the cause of Christ!
