5 Reasons Why Jesus Will Rapture His Church

As believers we look forward to the Rapture. But do we know why we’ll be raptured? He’s coming! How exciting was it when you knew your dad was on his way home when you were growing up? Maybe as a kid you felt like everything would be fixed when he came through the door. Or maybe you felt that way about your mom. You might have found her to be the do-it-all superhero who could answer every que

  1. Jesus will reward believers at the Judgment Seat of Christ (Rom. 14:10; 2 Cor. 5:10), which will occur after the Rapture but before the Second Coming.
Q: if the Judgment Seat is before the rapture what happens to the rewards for those who will not be there until they are raptured?

    Thank you!

  2. Mr. Jesse King, Paul charged Timothy to: Preach the word, this you have done wonderfully. You are more than a staff writer, you are an encourager to many and if we could see the angelic host I am sure they too are giving Amens.

  3. Amen. Beautiful explanation of the return of Christ. Thank you.

Just one question: Is the pouring out of his Spirit written in Zechariah 12 the same pouring as written in Joel 2 and Acts 2?

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

“And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit…”

Some biblical scholars say that the Acts 2 account is a partial fulfillment of Joel 2 on the day of Pentecost. What is your take?

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

“And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy…”

    1. Hopefully you don’t find me out of line, as the inquiry seemed to address the author.
Peter seems to make it clear in Acts 2:16…this is that…
I am admittedly Pentecostal, it saddens me that vss 19-21 are many times overlooked.
It is my position that this pouring out continues, even through these events. So not so much of a partial fulfilment, as I would see a furtherance of it, into our era and beyond, even into the Tribulation period and the national salvation of Israel. Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

  4. this article was a comfort to me, Thank You. I recently lost my husband of 60 years, so the loneliness and sense of loss is great. I do know where he is he is with JESUS, whole and hardy, and I’ll be there someday soon. we had 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grand children, he got to see all of them, in his long life. His greatest joy of the week was getting to go to Church, to hear the word and see friends.
it is amazing to think that GOD had all of this planned out to the inth degree, 1,000’s and 1,000’s of centuries ago, and it is coming to an end, and we will truly BE HIS. Thank you again Leeana Carden
