So as you walked through that trial, I was fortunate enough to meet and get to know you. I did not see a victim, I saw a victor. I didn’t hear a tale of woe, I heard a tale of victory and I got to ride my exercise bike next to a man who was pumping hard – to “buffet his body” because he was working to go after his next challenges.
Even in our Physical Therapy class, with a dozen others with damaged hearts, you stood out as a man who knew that God had intervened and He was not done with you yet!
Hey Paul Pierce: in the midst of reading your article, i looked at the writer.Paul Pierce. my wife Pat & i met you thru the Interlochen Bible Church when Pastor Bruce Craner & his wife Donna took a Sunday leave. you substituted. i think one of your daughters was present too. found out you, Carolyn, & family worshipped at the former Immanual Baptist Church on U.S.31 just south of TC. also you invited us to tour the Lake Ann Baptist Camp. & also i think you gave us some tickets to the dedication of the chapel there. am i correct?
