I HAVE HEARD THAT THE PURPOSE OF THE RAPTURE IS TO GET THE CHRISTIANS OFF THE EARTH
SO GOD CAN FULFILL HIS PROMISE TO ISRAEL? WHAT IS THIS PROMISE? WHY COULDN’T IT BE FULFILLED WITH CHRISTIANS STILL ON THE EARTH?

The popular idea that humans have an existence apart from the body is refuted right near the beginning of the Bible.

The Bible is clear that there is no “rapture” before the 2nd Coming of Jesus.

I wonder if I might ask a question about Matthew 24:36 where Jesus answered his diciples question.
I have heard this saying “No one Knows the time or the hour” is a Jewish idiom (expression) used by Jesus which some say refer to the Feast of Trumpets. The feast has many events associated with it , Holy convocation, marriage ceremony , judgment and others. Do you have an opinion on this? I have talked to some Jewish people about this without result.
I have never thought what Jesus had said made any sense given the context of surrounding verses even from when I was young. Hard to understand but I have patient. This meaning at my age gives me added joy if true. Not that it may be date setting but that Jesus did answer His diciples question and they may have understood it.

I have another question, do you have a brother and did you both have a radio program back in the 1970’s? There was a program that I used to listen to on KJRG (King Jesus the Reigning God) AM with two brothers with the last name of Levy and I thik one had a first name of David.

I have a question, what is the purpose of the 1000 year reign if all the sinners are gone? Who is being reigned over if we are all to rule and reign with Christ? Also what is the 1000 years for if we are suppose to live for eternity? This has always confused me.
Crystal,The Kingdom of God on earth exhausts the demonstration of sinful man before a gracious God, and fulfills the promises of God to Israel. The rule by Christ demonstrates his deity, as the only man absolutely in his image, which is of importance to the other created species called angels.
I truely would like to understand something. So very many people have different opinions on this. When someone dies, does he or she go to heaven and meet our Lord and Savior, or does he or she lay in this earth until Jesus comes again.Pat

Only the body lays in the earth. At the rapture the bodies of the dead in Christ shall be raised up first. I Thess 5:16 Their soul and body will be rejoined complete and they will ever be with the Lord.
A believer’s soul and spirit do not go into the ground. II Cor 5:6-8 teaches that when we are at home in the body (still alive) we are absent from the Lord. But, when we are absent from the body (having died) we are present with the Lord. There is no delay.
Paul talked about “having a desire to depart (this life), and to be with Christ” Phil 1:23
Stephen when he was stoned said, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” I believe Jesus did.

Scott, The disciples were instructed to wait for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, prior to spreading the gospel.
Demons/angels, have powers we as humans don’t. Preparation to withstand demons demands we bear the whole armor of God. We resist/pray and therefore the devil flees from us. With the completion of God’s written word, special powers, revelations and authority to cast out demons ceased.
That’s not a true statement. Christians can do anything if it’s the will of the Father and there isn’t one verse of Scripture that says otherwise.
A Christian must cast out demons by the power of The Holy Spirit in the Name of Jesus.

I also enjoyed listening to the audio of you being interviewed by Chris Katulka. For those who love Mr. Levy’s work, I highly recommend his book, “The Tabernacle : Shadows of the Messiah (Its Sacrifices, Services, and Priesthood) “. The book explains each part of the Tabernacle-the sacrificial system, and the priesthood-and how they relate to Jesus.

So very well explained and I thank you for doing this. I am a born again believer and can understand the rapture so much better. I listened and then read it and it is so beautiful in regards to the rapture.
